We've hit our target!

Dear readers,

We’ve done it! We hit our funding target in only one week!

I can’t thank each and every one of you enough for sharing the word, investing in us, and believing in us. I’m thrilled to be going on this adventure together and I couldn’t be more excited to see how it evolves throughout the years.

However, this is only the beginning. We’ve made it to the start line, not the finish line. What ‘hitting our target’ means is that we have achieved the financial backing we need from our members in order to bring you a wealth of independent cycling journalism for years to come that will entertain, inform, and challenge.

As I’ve always told our journalists, when you press ‘publish’ on an article, this is the beginning of the piece, not the end. After an article is published, it has the opportunity to be made even better by things like comments, follow ups, and reactions.

It’s the same thing here. Now that we have the ability to start this business, we have the opportunity (and obligation) to make it better. The more people who become members, the better we can be. The more we can invest in coverage of different facets of cycling, the more we can attract new members.

Thank you everyone. Not only have you helped bring Escape Collective to life, you’re also at the forefront of a new media model that is changing the game.
